I’m available to see clients face-to-face in Manchester City Centre on a Friday afternoon/evening on a long or short term basis.

I understand that it can be difficult opening up to a person who you trust, never mind a complete stranger. For this reason I place a lot of focus on the strength of our relationship which can lead to a growing trust between the two of us; this tends to make sharing easier. I recognise that we live in a society in which men might find this particularly difficult and I’ve had previous success in helping male clients to the point where they are ready to share; this has empowered them to make positive changes.

I work in a person centred way, which means that I place your needs, your beliefs and your decisions at the centre of our work together in a non-judgemental and empathic way. I am a member of the BACP and adhere to their ethical framework. I run an inclusive practice and have a particular interest and experience of supporting the LGBTQ+ community.

The idea of a cold, stoic therapist as depicted in films can be off-putting to many, and for this reason I’m warm, friendly and energetic and allow my own personality to become an important part of my practice. If it sounds like you’d be interested in coming for a session please call or e-mail for more info.
